Tibetan mandala is a tantric tool used for concentration and meditation. Tantra is an ancient Hindu practice which means ‘the weaving and expansion of energy’. It can help with tapping into and embracing our inherent energy to be more in tune with body, heart and soul.

Mandalas are perfectly shaped creating a sacred geometry. They are used as a spiritual guidance tool for establishing sacred space which is beneficial for the energy flow in the place they are hung.

Mandalas hold spiritual significance and make artistic appearances in cultures & philosophies across the globe. The famed Swiss psychiatrist, Dr. Carl Jung, used mandala in his work with clients. He felt when concentrated upon, mandala can bring up deeper human consciousness, which helped the client to receive revelation about the true potential and awareness of the self.

White Tara aka Saraswoti is associated with longevity. It is believed that White Tara counteracts illness and thereby helps to bring about a long life. She is portrayed seating in lotus position with the bottoms of her feet facing up. Her left hand holds a delightful blue lotus blossom and her right hand is stretched out to her knee in the mudra of sympathy. She has seven eyes representing her ability to see human hardships. The name Tara signifies "the person who recoveries" and she has the ability to reduce individuals from anguish.
