About Maitreya Buddha
Maitreya, known as the Buddha of the future, is a symbol of loving-kindness and compassion. He is regarded as the successor of Shakyamuni Buddha, who will come to this world in the future to teach the pure dharma, bringing teachings of peace and enlightenment. Currently, Maitreya resides in Tuṣita Heaven, the same celestial realm where Gautama Buddha lived before his birth on Earth.
In this Thangka, Maitreya is depicted seated on a throne, with his legs extended and both feet on the ground. His skin is of a serene yellow-gold hue, and his hands are positioned in the Dharma Teaching Mudra, symbolizing the transmission of teachings to sentient beings. In his hands, he holds the stems of two utpala (blue lotus) flowers, which support, on the right, a water flask and, on the left, the Dharma wheel—symbols of purity and spiritual teachings.
Maitreya’s adornments include a crown, earrings, necklaces, and bracelets, all of which highlight his elevated status. His silk scarves and colorful robes, richly decorated with gold accents, represent the beauty and wisdom that he embodies.

100% COTTON CANVAS & NATURAL MINERALS
Preparing the Cotton canvas before starting to paint a Thangka. This process includes washing, drying, stretching, sizing and everything needed to make a perfect base for the thangka to last for centuries.
Thangka paintings are painted using natural minerals such as agate, gold, silver, cinnabar, saffron, ocher, rhubarb, lapis and many other minerals. To create the ideal pigment for painting, these materials are ground several times. This makes the materials even more durable and long-lasting. Thus, you can surely expect the color of the Thangka to withstand the test of time.
The gold in the ornaments and detailing is made from real gold dust.

Beautiful item, well made
This mala is beautiful and well made. This is the 9th mala I have ordered and each one is a work of art.
I put it on and immediately it felt right. The weight feels grounding and the aquamarine stones bring me to the sea. I can feel the loving hands and hearts that created this beautiful mala.
Thank you dear Nepalese artist who painted my White Tara Thangka. It is not only beautiful , but the sacred vibrations shine out when I lift and shape the silk panel into a silken flower shape. The workmanship is excellent and the vibrant colours are a constant delight.
Thank you

Beautiful
My story begins with the purchase of a full Fire Horse Moon Bowl collection. That fiery, energizing collection is quirky and brilliant. I learned though that bowls created under the Super Flower Blood Moon offer healing and transformation, and I need both. I began by buying a simple crown chakra bowl, to draw the heat from my body. It arrived from halfway around the world in perfect condition, and it’s sound was so luminous, I decided to buy the whole set!! I am thrilled about my purchase and I am deeply grateful to Mila for his assistance. I find it a bit funny that my bowls have traveled more than I have, originating in Kathmandu and passing through Dubai and Leipzig before arriving in the middle of the United States!! I will keep my eye on the productions of The Art of Tibet, and am most curious about the possibility of a Total Eclipse Blue Moon collection in a few years!
I'm happy with the bracelet, and this is my first healing bracelet. The quality is good, the elastic stretch string has multiple strands for a strong hold, so it was put together well. It also comes with a nice jewelry pouch.
I chose this company because the proceeds support Nepalese artisans including Tibetan and Newari, and I'm happy to support this.
